EMC received National Energy Conservation Awards 2013

Energy Management Centre (EMC)– Kerala received this years’ Second Best Performing State Designated Agency Award from the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Shri. K. M. Dharesan Unnithan, Director, Energy Management Centre Kerala received the award from Shri. Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble President of India in the ceremony held at New Delhi on 16 December 2013.

EMC was selected from among the State Designated Agencies in India which had put up excellent performance in energy conservation and energy efficiency programmes during the year 2012-13.

Dharesan Unnithan, Director, Energy Management Centre Kerala at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi December 16, 2013 on the occasion of the National Energy Conservation Day. Also seen is the Minister of State for Power (Independent Charge), Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia.
