Energy Management Centre (EMC)– Kerala bagged this years' Second Best Performing State Designated Agency Award' from Ministry of Power, Government of India. EMC was selected from among the State Designated Agencies which had put up excellent performance during the year 2009-10. Shri. Sushil Kumar Shinde, Hon'ble Union Minister for Power presented the award to Shri. A. K Balan, Hon'ble Minister for Electricity, Government of Kerala in the ceremony held at New Delhi on National Energy Conservation Day (14 December 2010)
